In conjunction with construction of the Health Science Research Building 2, it will be necessary to conduct intermittent closures of Haygood Drive between Clifton Road and Andrews Circle at Druid Hills High School.
The closures will be conducted periodically between November 2019 and February 2020. Scheduling of the closures is based on Emory University and Emory Healthcare operations, weather and daylight, all of which will dictate the day and time of the construction-related closures. Specifically:
These closures are expected to last 15 minutes/day and will generally be scheduled around 4:15 p.m.;
Both Clifton Road and Andrews Circle will remain open for through traffic (but no turns on to Haygood Drive during the closures); and
Emory Police Department will be directing traffic during each closure.
The first of these closures is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 30, around 4:15 p.m. (these closures could be postponed due to inclement weather).
